Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-ins/check-outs using property management systems
- Handle reservation modifications, cancellations, and special requests
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with empathy and professionalism
- Process payments, manage cash floats, and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments for seamless operations
- Uphold brand standards through consistent service delivery
- Assist with training and mentoring of new front desk staff
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years front desk or customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency with reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic math and cash handling abilities
- Valid Tennessee driver's license (if required for errands)
- Knowledge of Memphis attractions and local area
