Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out processes across rotating shifts (overnight, evening, early morning)
- Resolve guest inquiries with professionalism and empathy, including requests for amenities, transportation, and local recommendations
- Oversee reservation systems, room status updates, and billing discrepancies
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and maintenance teams to maintain operational excellence
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate financial records
- Uphold brand standards through exceptional service during high-traffic periods
- Contribute to a positive team environment during shift transitions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality or customer service experience in shift-based roles
- Proficiency with property management systems (e.g., Opera, RoomKey)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask effectively during high-pressure scenarios
- Strong attention to detail in financial transactions and documentation
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Indiana hospitality alcohol service certification (if applicable)
- Basic knowledge of Indianapolis attractions and transportation options
