Job Summary
As the face of our hotel, you will ensure every guest has a seamless and memorable experience. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, customer-service driven, and ready to learn.
Responsibilities
- Guest Check-In/Out: Efficiently process check-ins and check-outs while verifying guest information and collecting payments accurately.
- Reservation Management: Manage the hotel's reservation system to update availability and process bookings via phone and email.
- Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, answer inquiries regarding local attractions, and resolve any issues or complaints with a positive attitude.
- Communication: Handle multi-line phone systems professionally, taking messages and directing calls to the appropriate departments.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of guest stays, update guest profiles, and handle cash handling and petty cash reconciliation.
- Coordination: Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared and amenities are stocked.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred; however, we are happy to train motivated entry-level candidates.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Professionalism: A polished appearance and a friendly, outgoing personality.
