As a Front Desk Agent at The Peabody, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our guests, ensuring their stay is seamless from check-in to check-out. We pride ourselves on our Southern hospitality and attention to detail. In this role, you will handle guest inquiries, manage reservations, and contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of the hotel.

Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, personalized greeting to all guests upon arrival, ensuring a seamless check-in process.
- Guest Services: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Reservation Management: Assist with room assignments, process bookings, and manage room availability using the hotel Property Management System (PMS).
- Operational Support: Maintain the front desk area in pristine condition, ensuring lobby and public spaces are organized and welcoming.
- Communication: Answer incoming calls, take accurate messages, and coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.
- Check-out: Process payments accurately and ensure all guest billing information is complete before departure.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous hospitality experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Appearance: Professional appearance and grooming standards that align with our luxury brand image.
