Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out processes and handle reservation modifications
- Process payments, manage cash floats, and reconcile daily transactions
- Respond to guest inquiries with exceptional service and resolve issues promptly
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams
- Maintain accurate guest records and update property management systems
- Assist with valet services and luggage handling as needed
- Perform nightly audits and prepare shift reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Basic knowledge of DC area attractions and transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
