Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Check-In/Check-Out: Efficiently manage the registration process, including verifying identity, collecting payments, and issuing room keys using property management systems.
- Reservations: Handle incoming calls for reservations, modifying existing bookings, and updating guest profiles in the system.
- Concierge Services: Provide local information, recommend restaurants, and assist with transportation arrangements.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Front Office Operations: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Administrative Tasks: Process invoices, manage mail, and ensure accurate daily financial reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent or Receptionist in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or hospitality certification is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or StayNTouch.
- Professionalism: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Appearance: Maintain a neat, professional appearance in accordance with company grooming standards.
- Languages: Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are highly desirable.
