Responsibilities
- Welcomes guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a seamless and positive check-in experience.
- Manages the check-out process efficiently, including payment processing and key retrieval.
- Answers incoming phone calls and emails promptly, addressing inquiries and requests with a helpful attitude.
- Handles guest complaints and issues with patience and diplomacy, escalating complex matters when necessary.
- Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and reception zone.
- Updates guest profiles and records in the Property Management System (PMS) accurately.
- Collaborates with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for arrivals.
- Assists with concierge services and provides local recommendations to guests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel front desk, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, SoftCloud).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing reconciliation.
