Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process using the property management system.
- Manage high volumes of incoming calls and emails, providing accurate information and routing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Process all guest payments, including cash, credit cards, and checks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Address guest complaints, requests, and emergencies with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Maintain the front desk area and lobby, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment at all times.
- Assist with concierge services, including local recommendations, transportation arrangements, and restaurant reservations.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in hospitality or business is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in front desk operations, guest services, or customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Oracle or Opera.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a polished and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 25 lbs).
