Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using Opera property management system
- Handle reservations, billing inquiries, and payment processing
- Resolve guest concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Market hotel amenities and local attractions
- Maintain accurate guest records and confidential information
- Execute upselling strategies for room upgrades
Qualifications
- 1+ years hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with PMS systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Flexible weekend availability (Fri-Sun)
- Basic knowledge of Jacksonville tourism
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
