Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out processes while maintaining accuracy
- Respond to guest inquiries with professionalism and local expertise
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to resolve service issues
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain financial records
- Utilize PMS software to manage reservations and room assignments
- Uphold brand standards through attentive service and problem resolution
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams during peak weekend periods
Qualifications
- Previous front desk or customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills with a guest-centric approach
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts including evenings
- Basic knowledge of New Orleans attractions and transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification a plus
