Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out processes with efficiency and warmth
- Handle reservation inquiries and modifications using Opera property management system
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate complex issues to management
- Process payments accurately and maintain secure cash handling procedures
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Act as local Columbus ambassador recommending attractions, dining, and events
- Maintain immaculate front desk area and ensure all materials are stocked
Qualifications
- 1+ years hotel or hospitality customer service experience
- Proficiency with PMS systems (Opera, Fidelio, or similar)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Columbus attractions and transportation
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Positive attitude with genuine hospitality passion
