- Efficiently manage guest check-ins/check-outs using property management systems
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with proactive problem-solving
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial documentation
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Upsell hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Handle emergency situations calmly and per hotel protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality or customer service experience
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Basic math and cash handling accuracy
- Valid North Carolina driver's license preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
