Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet and welcome guests warmly, manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, and provide a personalized welcome experience.
- Operational Excellence: Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Administrative Tasks: Process payments, manage reservations, and maintain accurate records in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Communication: Answer phone calls and emails promptly, providing information about local attractions and hotel amenities.
- Visual Presentation: Maintain a pristine and organized front desk and lobby area at all times.
- Security: Adhere to all hotel security protocols and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Hospitality is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills; ability to work well under pressure.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Technical: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Appearance: Professional appearance and grooming standards.
