Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all required documentation is completed.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, responding to inquiries regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and room availability.
- Manage the front desk operations, including handling cash transactions, credit card processing, and reconciling daily deposits.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and lobby to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Process wake-up calls, room service orders, and package deliveries in a timely manner.
- Assist guests with special requests, such as restaurant reservations or transportation arrangements, with a proactive approach.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals and address any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; previous hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects (up to 25 lbs).
- Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred due to our diverse clientele.
