Responsibilities

  • Check guests in and out with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all required documentation is completed.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, responding to inquiries regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and room availability.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including handling cash transactions, credit card processing, and reconciling daily deposits.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and lobby to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Process wake-up calls, room service orders, and package deliveries in a timely manner.
  • Assist guests with special requests, such as restaurant reservations or transportation arrangements, with a proactive approach.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals and address any maintenance issues immediately.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; previous hospitality experience is a plus.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
