Responsibilities
- Guest Check-In & Check-Out: Manage the registration process efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation and payments are processed accurately.
- Reception Duties: Answer multi-line phone systems professionally and direct calls to appropriate departments or guests.
- Reservation Management: Update room inventory and handle reservation changes or cancellations via the Property Management System (PMS).
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with empathy and problem-solving skills to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Lobby Management: Maintain a welcoming and organized lobby area, ensuring the front desk area is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Key Management: Safely issue and collect room keys and access cards while maintaining strict security protocols.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage staff to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a front desk, concierge, or hospitality role is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) is a strong plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual skills are a bonus.
- Professionalism: A polished, professional appearance and demeanor are essential.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required.
- Interpersonal: Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work well within a team.
