Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, responding to inquiries with a professional and welcoming tone.
- Manage guest accounts, process payments, and handle billing inquiries accurately.
- Handle and resolve guest complaints and special requests to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor front desk security and safety procedures to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or front desk operations is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and property management systems (PMS).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects (up to 20 lbs).
