As the face of our property, you will ensure that every guest feels welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Your role involves managing check-in and check-out processes, handling inquiries, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the lobby area.
Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Answer incoming calls and emails promptly, addressing guest inquiries and requests.
- Maintain a pristine and welcoming lobby environment at all times.
- Process payments and handle minor front office financial transactions.
- Resolve guest concerns and complaints with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Assist in coordinating with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for arrivals.
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality is preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with reservation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A professional appearance and a positive, friendly attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
