Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the hotel management system (PMS).
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and reservation requests with a polite, professional, and welcoming demeanor.
- Resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly to ensure 100% guest satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain the lobby area, ensuring it remains pristine, organized, and inviting at all times.
- Assist with concierge services, including providing recommendations for dining, entertainment, and local NYC attractions.
- Manage the night audit process or check-out procedures during peak weekend hours.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and property upkeep.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in hospitality, luxury hotel operations, or customer service is preferred.
- Mandatory availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on exceptional guest service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting luggage or cleaning supplies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management software is highly desirable.
