Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently while maintaining a warm, professional demeanor
- Manage reservations and room assignments using Opera property management system
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly with a solutions-oriented approach
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial transaction records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experiences
- Maintain security protocols and sensitive guest information confidentiality
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of Chicago tourism attractions preferred
