As a Front Desk Agent, you are the face of our brand. You will ensure our guests feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive until they check out.

Responsibilities

  • Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently, verifying identification and processing payments accurately using the property management system.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, providing information regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and reservation details.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with patience and empathy, escalating complex issues to the Hotel Manager or General Manager when necessary.
  • Process guest accounts, including room charges, wake-up calls, and special requests, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for arrivals and ready for departure.
  • Assist in administrative duties such as filing, inventory management, and posting payroll for the front office team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required; a degree in Hospitality or Business is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk, concierge, or guest services role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 lbs).
