Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring accurate processing of payments and room assignments.
- Answer incoming calls and emails promptly, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Manage reservations and update the property management system (PMS) with current guest information.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby to ensure a professional appearance.
- Assist guests with directions, local recommendations, and special requests to enhance their stay.
- Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely and in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous hospitality experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management software.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
