Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests and check them in/out efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Guest Relations: Handle inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure guest needs are met with the highest level of courtesy and efficiency.
- Reservations Management: Assist with phone inquiries, online bookings, and room assignments to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction.
- Security & Access: Verify guest identities, manage room keys, and ensure the safety and security of the property and guests.
- Maintenance of Standards: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby, reporting maintenance issues promptly.
- Upselling: Proactively suggest hotel amenities, dining options, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and hotel reservation software (e.g., Opera, OpenHotel).
- Professionalism: A polished appearance and a professional demeanor at all times.
- Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Problem Solving: Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to think on your feet.
