Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and professional demeanor, managing the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
- Reservations: Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms, ensuring accuracy in room types and pricing.
- Concierge Services: Provide local recommendations and assist guests with transportation, dining reservations, and special requests.
- Front Desk Operations: Monitor the front desk 24/7, answer inquiries, and resolve guest issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction scores.
- Cash Handling: Process payments accurately and balance the cash drawer at the end of every shift.
- Security: Verify identification for all guests and ensure that hotel safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain guest records in the Property Management System (PMS) and update availability calendars.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospitality role (Front Desk, Guest Services, or Concierge) is preferred but not required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual candidates are a plus.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers and Point of Sale (POS) systems or Property Management Systems (PMS) is highly desirable.
- Professionalism: Must maintain a professional appearance and a positive attitude under pressure.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think quickly and resolve guest complaints or technical issues effectively.
