Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary forms are completed accurately.
- Answer incoming calls and emails promptly, addressing inquiries regarding reservations, amenities, and local attractions.
- Manage the front desk console and lobby area, ensuring a welcoming and organized atmosphere for all visitors.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with patience and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Process payments and post charges to guest accounts using the hotel property management system (PMS).
- Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding hotel policies, local Dallas events, and transportation options.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous customer service or front desk experience is preferred but not required (we provide training).
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency with computers and basic office software (Microsoft Office suite).
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
