Responsibilities
- Oversee Front Desk Operations: Manage the daily check-in, check-out, and reservation processes to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly to ensure a 5-star experience for every visitor.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor front desk staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Shift Management: Schedule shifts, conduct staff meetings, and ensure all team members adhere to hotel policies and procedures.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor daily revenue reports, handle cash fluctuations, and assist in inventory management for the front office.
- Crisis Management: Handle emergency situations and resolve escalated guest issues with diplomacy and professionalism.
- System Management: Maintain accurate records in the Property Management System (PMS) and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hospitality, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or certification in Hospitality Management is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in PMS software (e.g., Oracle, Opera, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong ability to make quick decisions under pressure and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
