Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring efficiency and high standards of guest service.
- Supervise, train, and mentor front desk staff to foster a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries with a focus on resolving issues and exceeding expectations.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of room inventory, reservations, and guest feedback.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and quality control.
- Handle high-profile VIP guests and corporate accounts with the utmost professionalism.
- Assist in the creation of staff schedules and manage payroll and overtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a luxury hotel or upscale hospitality establishment.
- Proven track record in guest relations and front desk management.
- Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera, Micros, or similar.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A valid Hospitality Service Certificate or degree is preferred.
