Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and concierge services, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Manage the weekend front office team, providing leadership, training, and support to ensure high service standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with empathy and efficiency, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
  • Monitor room availability and manage reservations to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Ensure all financial transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing, are accurate and secure.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
  • Conduct nightly audits and prepare reports for the general manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality management.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS) and reservation software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Hospitality or Business is a plus.
