Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts ensuring exceptional service standards
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance for front desk, housekeeping, and guest services teams
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and VIP requests with professionalism and discretion
- Monitor safety protocols, security procedures, and emergency response protocols
- Coordinate with maintenance, food & beverage, and sales departments for seamless operations
- Implement revenue strategies during shift coverage including upselling and occupancy management
- Maintain accurate shift logs, incident reports, and departmental records
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years hotel management experience with shift supervisory background
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams in high-volume hospitality environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with crisis management experience
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, Cloudbeds) and Microsoft Office
- Pennsylvania Food Handler's certification preferred
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
