In this role, you will be the face of our hotel, ensuring our guests receive world-class service from check-in to check-out. You will manage a team of front desk associates, housekeeping staff, and support personnel, ensuring that every shift runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage the front desk and lobby operations during assigned shifts, ensuring high standards of efficiency and accuracy.
- Staff Supervision: Direct, train, and motivate front desk agents and night auditors to deliver superior customer service.
- Guest Relations: Handle VIP arrivals, special requests, and complex guest complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Security & Safety: Enforce hotel security protocols and safety procedures to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
- Shift Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate daily shift reports, including occupancy rates, revenue summaries, and incident logs.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage lobby supplies, check-out amenities, and uniform inventory.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in hotel operations, front desk management, or hospitality supervision.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
- Flexibility: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of hotel PMS (Property Management Systems) such as Opera, Micros, or similar.
- Problem Solving: Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure while resolving guest issues effectively.
