Responsibilities
- Oversee all overnight and weekend hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and security teams
- Manage guest check-in/check-out processes and resolve service issues with professionalism
- Coordinate staff scheduling, assignments, and performance during assigned shifts
- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, brand standards, and regulatory requirements
- Train and mentor team members on operational procedures and customer service excellence
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed for smooth shift transitions
- Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively while maintaining guest safety
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years hotel/hospitality experience with 1+ years in supervisory role
- Proven ability to lead teams during high-pressure situations and overnight shifts
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations: front desk systems, housekeeping protocols, and guest services
- Excellent communication skills and ability to de-escalate guest concerns professionally
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Basic computer proficiency with PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Ohio hospitality certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
