Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations during assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional guest service standards
- Manage staff scheduling, performance coaching, and team development
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and VIP requests with professionalism
- Monitor room status, housekeeping workflows, and maintenance requests
- Process financial transactions, reconcile cash drawers, and generate shift reports
- Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Collaborate with departments (housekeeping, food & beverage, security) for cohesive operations
- Train and mentor new team members on hotel systems and service standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hotel supervisory experience required
- Proven ability to lead teams in high-pressure environments
- Expert knowledge of hotel management systems (Opera/PMS preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong financial acumen and cash handling experience
- Valid Washington State Food Handler's Card (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift 25 lbs
