Responsibilities
- Room Preparation: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, suites, and public areas according to company standards and safety protocols.
- Deep Cleaning: Perform deep cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing furniture and fixtures.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and amenities (soap, shampoo, towels) to ensure rooms are fully stocked.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct pre-arrival and post-departure inspections to identify and rectify any maintenance or cleanliness issues.
- Shift Work Adherence: Adhere to strict shift schedules, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to ensure continuous coverage.
- Reporting: Promptly report any maintenance repairs or safety hazards to the housekeeping supervisor.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional housekeeping or custodial experience in a hotel or residential setting.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and attendance in a shift-based work environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to notice and correct minor imperfections in cleanliness.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
