As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the face of our hotel, ensuring every guest feels valued and well taken care of. Whether you are checking in a weary traveler or answering a call for directions, your professionalism and warmth are essential to our success.
Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the hotel's Property Management System (PMS).
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails with a professional and friendly tone.
- Process guest payments, including cash, credit cards, and vouchers, ensuring accuracy.
- Assist with concierge requests, such as restaurant reservations and local transportation.
- Monitor the lobby area to ensure cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with a solution-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest rooms are ready for check-in.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- A valid driver's license is a plus.
