In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their entire stay. You will be responsible for ensuring our lobby runs smoothly, managing reservations with precision, and resolving any guest concerns with warmth and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional, and memorable demeanor immediately upon arrival.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently using our hotel management software (Opera/Siemens).
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with patience, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
- Process credit card payments and balance daily financial transactions accurately and securely.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic appeal of the front desk and lobby areas.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
- Answer phone calls professionally and assist with room service or concierge requests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in front desk operations or customer service.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with a focus on guest-centric service.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel reservation systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 25 lbs).
