The Menger Hotel is seeking enthusiastic Guest Services Associates (ages 16+) to join our historic downtown team. This is the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience in hotel operations, guest relations, and business management while living in the heart of San Antonio.
We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn, reliable, and have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. You will work alongside our management team to learn the ins and outs of hotel operations, from front desk management to event coordination, building a strong foundation for your future.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and emails in a professional and polite manner.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of public areas and the front desk.
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Learn and assist with basic housekeeping and maintenance coordination.
- Participate in training programs regarding hotel safety and emergency procedures.
- Support the front office team with administrative tasks and data entry.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Currently enrolled in high school or a recent graduate.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy (typing and navigating web browsers).
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Willingness to learn and follow directions closely.
