Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out procedures with precision and warmth
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet departments
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Utilize hotel management systems (Opera) efficiently
- Upsell room upgrades and premium services
- Maintain a pristine front desk appearance
Qualifications
- 2+ years hotel front desk experience preferred
- Proficiency in Opera or similar PMS systems
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Strong knowledge of Chicago attractions and transportation
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- Valid Illinois hospitality certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Professional appearance and positive demeanor
