Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests warmly and processing check-ins and check-outs efficiently using our property management system.
- Handling guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
- Maintaining the front desk area, ensuring it is tidy, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Processing payments accurately and balancing cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrival.
- Answering phone calls and emails promptly to assist callers with information, reservations, or special requests.
- Assisting in special events and daily hotel operations as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality is a plus.
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or hotel operations is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 25 lbs).
- A valid driver's license is a plus.
