The Grand Indianapolis Hotel is seeking a dedicated and charismatic Hotel Front Desk Agent to join our premium team for our busy weekend shifts. Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all registration cards and payments are processed accurately.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly via phone, email, or the hotel app.
- Manage room bookings, handle special requests, and resolve any guest complaints or issues with a smile.
- Maintain the lobby area to ensure it is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Process and secure guest payments and balance daily financial transactions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel front desk, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as required.
- Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) is a plus but not required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
