Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring accurate registration and billing information.
- Manage reservations and handle incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure a 5-star guest experience.
- Monitor the lobby area to ensure security and safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk workspace, including the cash drawer and supplies.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests and room issues.
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or guest services role.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
