Job Summary
As a member of our front-of-house team, you will be the face of The Georgian Grand Hotel. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, friendly, and eager to learn the art of hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Check guests in and out efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries via email or in person.
- Assist with luggage handling and valet services as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and front desk area.
- Handle cash transactions and credit card processing accurately.
- Provide local recommendations and information to travelers.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- No prior hospitality experience is required; we value attitude over experience.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy is a plus but not mandatory.
