Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming first and last impression.
- Check guests in and out efficiently using hotel management software, verifying identification and payment details.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly to handle reservations, inquiries, and requests.
- Process transactions accurately using cash registers and credit card machines, balancing the till at the end of each shift.
- Provide detailed information about local attractions, dining options, and transportation to guests.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with patience and professionalism to ensure high satisfaction rates.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and public areas are spotless and ready for occupancy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred, but not strictly required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Must have a valid ID and be authorized to work in the United States.
