Responsibilities
- Perform deep cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish toiletries and amenities to exceed guest expectations.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues or damages and report them promptly to the management team.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with guests and fellow employees.
- Organize and store cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently to ensure productivity.
- Follow strict time management schedules to maximize room turnover and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by New York Cityβs busy schedule.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
