Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest brand standards.
- Make beds, dust furniture, polish fixtures, and vacuum carpets to ensure a pristine environment.
- Restock amenities (soap, shampoo, towels, coffee) and ensure guest supplies are always available.
- Maintain a high standard of organization in housekeeping carts, closets, and linen rooms.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to the supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and security policies and procedures at all times.
- Interact with guests courteously and resolve any immediate cleaning requests or concerns.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to cleanliness and organization.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently and meet daily cleaning goals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative housekeeping team.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
