As a key member of our hotel staff, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have an unforgettable stay, from check-in to check-out.
Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Provide warm, welcoming greetings to all guests and resolve any complaints or issues promptly to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Housekeeping Coordination: Communicate room status updates and maintenance requests to the housekeeping and engineering departments.
- Event Support: Assist in setting up and breaking down for hotel events and conferences as required.
- Sales & Marketing: Promote our amenities, local attractions, and special packages to guests to increase revenue.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen, housekeeping, and maintenance staff to ensure seamless hotel operations.
- Security & Safety: Monitor surveillance cameras and adhere to all safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s degree in Hospitality or Business is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hotel, resort, or luxury service environment.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, FrontDesk) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Interpersonal: A professional, approachable, and positive demeanor with a strong focus on customer service.
- Physical: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and move throughout the hotel premises.
