Responsibilities
- Oversee all hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance teams
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Manage P&L responsibilities including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization
- Lead staff training programs and cultivate a high-performance culture
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, health regulations, and safety protocols
- Build relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and community stakeholders
- Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to maintain competitive advantage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field required
- Minimum 5+ years progressive hotel management experience in premium properties
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and guest satisfaction metrics
- Expertise in P&L management, staff development, and operational excellence
- Strong leadership skills with ability to inspire multidisciplinary teams
- Deep knowledge of Detroit's hospitality market and tourism landscape
- Advanced proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Valid Michigan Food Service Manager certification preferred
