Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to maximize revenue and occupancy
- Manage staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, health regulations, and safety protocols
- Handle guest complaints and resolve escalated service issues promptly
- Monitor financial performance and control operational budgets
- Coordinate with vendors and maintain supplier relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field required
- Minimum 5+ years hotel management experience in upscale properties
- Proven leadership skills with team development expertise
- Strong financial acumen and P&L management experience
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Knowledge of hotel management systems (Opera, POS)
- Valid California Food Handler and ServSafe certifications
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
