Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance guest experience and loyalty
- Manage departmental budgets, financial reporting, and cost control measures
- Lead, mentor, and train staff across all hotel departments
- Resolve escalated guest complaints with exceptional service standards
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- 5+ years hotel management experience in luxury properties
- Proven revenue management and P&L expertise
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Knowledge of hotel management systems (Opera, RMS)
- Detroit market experience preferred
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
