Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with health/safety regulations and brand standards
- Analyze financial reports and optimize operational efficiency
- Build relationships with corporate clients and event coordinators
- Handle guest complaints and resolve escalated issues promptly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years hotel management experience
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Expertise in PMS systems (Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Knowledge of Portland tourism market preferred
- Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation a plus
