Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage departments.
- Guest Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for VIP guests and resolve any complex guest complaints or issues immediately to ensure 5-star satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure high performance, safety, and adherence to company policies.
- Financial Management: Monitor revenue, control expenses, and assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasting.
- Compliance: Ensure the hotel adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, including health codes and safety standards.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to maximize occupancy rates and promote special events.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in hospitality management, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading diverse teams and driving performance metrics.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with guests at all levels.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) such as Opera or StayNTouch.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Business is a plus.
