Responsibilities
- Master hotel operations through departmental rotations (front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage)
- Learn revenue management techniques and pricing strategies
- Develop leadership skills by supervising staff under mentor guidance
- Implement guest satisfaction protocols and service recovery procedures
- Assist in budget monitoring and expense control initiatives
- Coordinate with vendors and maintenance teams for property standards
- Participate in daily management briefings and strategic planning sessions
- Complete quarterly performance evaluations with career development planning
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- No hotel experience required - training provided
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn PMS systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
